MAYSNOW: The Italian Progressive Rock Band Announces Details of New Album “A Dream Within A Dream” and Releases New Video for “Running With A Firework Smile”

After the great success of the single “Another Chance” in collaboration with Anathema’s Daniel Cavanagh, the Italian prog-rock band MAYSNOW is glad to announce that its new album “A Dream Within A Dream” will be released on October 4th via Sleaszy Rider.

Composed of 11 songs for over 49 minutes of musical experience, “A Dream Within A Dream” is vibrant and rich with melodies, while retaining – and even strengthening – the heavy essence of the band. The new album introduces a variety of progressive and electronic elements, making it a unique piece in its own right. More precisely, “A Dream Within A Dream” can be described as a post-progressive work, enriched with djent influences, while still honoring the band’s roots in grunge, post-grunge, progressive metal, nu-metal, and its acoustic essence. 

MAYSNOW has shared a new official video for the track “Running With A Firework Smile”. Directed by Andrea Pascali (AD Studio), the video is elegantly dark thanks to a calibrated and incisive use of slow motion. The video perfectly captures the dark atmosphere of the song, characterized by the scream and clean voice of Daniele Rini, as well as the massive dose of keyboards and orchestrations guaranteed by Paolo Bianchi.
