 Following March’s highly successful “Run For Your Life” headline tour, MAKO reveal the details for their forthcoming HOURGLASS – REMIXESpackage, arriving at all digital retailers on April 28, 2017.
Along with the remix EP announcement, Los Angeles-based pop-electronic alchemist group have released “Let Go Of The Wheel” (FURY Remix). Listen to it now on Soundcloud, HERE. Vancouver DJs FURY amplify the original’s grooves with heavy, hard-hitting rhythms and a punchy bounce expanding its aural makeup in the process. The song is available as an instant grat track with all album pre-orders right now.
For the HOURGLASS – REMIXES album, Alex Seaver enlisted a diverse cadre of dynamic production talents to breathe new life into the songs from their 2016 full-length debut, HOURGLASS. Earlier this month, they unleashed a chilled-out take on “Run For Your Life” [feat. Natalola] with Rat City by Midwest production maverick Attom. Right out of the gate, the remix has already clocked over 47K Soundcloud plays. Next upon April 14th, Mako uncover “Wish You Back” ft. Kwesi (NOTD Remix) and “Real Life” with Morgan Page (Ossian Remix) as instant grats. Both songs offer another perspective on Mako‘s singular sound.
