WPOC brought their fourth part of their concert series, Hot Country Nights to Power Plant Live with Headliner Justin Moore and special guest Lainey Wilson.
Lainey Wilson, a native from Baskin, Louisiana, opened the show with her very upbeat and soulful sound. Wilson kicked it off with her cover of “Born to be Wild” and songs off her EP. Wilson is on CMT’s list of ladies to watch for in 2019.
Justin Moore, one of Nashville’s hottest male performers, headlined the WPOC Hot Country Nights show on August 2nd. Moore and his band brought a very high energy show to the Power Plant Live and WPOC crowd. Moore performed all of his hits and did a cover of Waylon Jennings “Good Ol’ Boys,” the theme from the Dukes of Hazard show. They also played hits like “Till My Last Day,” ‘You Look Like I Need a Drink,” and “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away.” His latest hit, “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home,” Moore dedicated to all military, law enforcement, firefighters, EMT and first responders. Moore kept the crowd and his fans happy with a nice almost 90-minute set.
