DENVER, CO (June 1, 2021) – Colorado-based DeadRoom Comedy is excited to kick off their Colorado summer comedy tour in Greeley at the Moxi Theater on July 22nd. Fresh off the success of a 4-night run at Denver’s Fringe Festival, DeadRoom Comedy will be highlighting a series entitled “Dead Inside” – an ode to the ancient relationship between comedy and tragedy. The multi-media show will feature stand-up comedy, video sketches, and more, all geared towards the question, “what makes us feel hollow inside and how can we make audiences laugh at it?” Showcasing four different acts, Elliot Weber, Jacob Jonas, Jeff Stonic, and Joshua Emerson, the comedians will express the feelings that come with trauma in their own unique way – providing the soil for new growth and new joy. “We want to make audiences laugh by talking about things that make us cry,” says DeadRoom founder Joshua Emerson. Life is hard, so the DeadRoom boys want to make you laugh about it, because whether you are laughing or crying, this too shall pass.
The Moxi Theater is the first in a series of shows for DeadRoom Comedy who are kicking off a summer tour around Colorado. More dates and information to come soon.
