Chase Rice came to Baltimore MD, for WPOC Hot Country Night’s Summer series show’s at power plant live on Friday Night June 28th. Joining him on the hot summer night was the newest artist out of Nashville, Brandon Ratcliff.
Brandon Ratcliff, the 24 year old from Cotton Valley, Louisiana hit the stage with a very upbeat and serious country sound. Ratcliff had the crowd in awe with his sound and performance from his remake of a great hit of Brooks & Dunn, “Ain’t Nothing ‘bout you. Ratcliff’s newest song is “Rules of Breaking Up.” Look for Ratcliff on Monument Records.
The Chase Rice Band hit the stage, pumping up the crowd. Chase Rice’s voice could be heard singing his hit, “Lions” from stage right getting the crowd more excited and eager to see him on stage. Rice wore a traditional look, a white t-shirt, jeans and his HDEU hat. He made this already hot summer night even hotter. Rice hails from Ashville, North Carolina and is a former linebacker for the Tar-Heels. He is a singer and songwriter, co-writing a hit song “Cruise,” made famous by Florida Georgia Line. Rice and his band put on a very energetic show, interacting with fans. At one point of the show, he told a lady in the crowd he loved her American flag shirt. He invited her and her boyfriend on stage. Rice had her sit on a chair and was teasing her while singing lyrics of his song “Ride.” The young lady’s boyfriend proposed to her, with her parents in the audience. Rice sang his latest number 1 hit, “Eyes On You” while the couple danced. Rice also performed “Cruise,” closing the show with another great hit, “Ready Set Roll.”
