Bourbon & Beyond Bound: Reporting for Saving Country Music

From the day the Bourbon & Beyond Music, Food & Bourbon festival announced its massive talent lineup in January, spanning top recording artists from various genres of country, Americana, rock, roots, folk and bluegrass, I knew I needed to be there. Journaling about music festivals going down in my hometown of Louisville, Kentucky was a routine activity during a period of my past professional life, which I am temporarily unearthing for this weekend’s massive festival.

That said, I’ll be temporarily taking the editorial reins for Saving Country Music, since good ole’ Trigger has a few other important musical festivals happening this weekend that required his time and attention. So, I offered to pitch in and help get it done!

Stay tuned to SCM socials (FB, Instagram) and look out for a post-event recap at Saving Country Music of what I saw, heard and discovered at what is likely going to go down as the largest ever music festival to take place in Louisville, Kentucky.
