Australian Rock Artist Bawden ~ Fourth Single “Family Scars” Featuring Dan Skeed.

Australian rock artist Bawden, the musical outlet of highly respected Sydney musician/producer Jason Bawden, is set to rock your world once again with the highly anticipated fourth single release “Family Scars.” For this song he has teamed up with Dan Skeed another well respected and award-winning producer who delivers some amazing vocals for this track. “Family Scars” evokes a powerful message around gender-based violence and its release in Late November is in line with the UN’s 16 days of activism against gender-based violence. The lyrics tell the story of a troubled family and how violence has impacted across their generations.

Jason shares his thoughts on the new single, saying, “it’s really hard – domestic violence I mean, as a topic, who wants to really face that demon right? But here we are in 2023 and well there’s still too much of it going on. So here is my attempt to support the message of the 16 days of activism run every year by the UN. I truly hope that you can get behind this and like share stream download the song at the same time as sharing 16 days info updates and messaging.”

“Now Musically speaking” Jason continues, “I handed vocal duties to Dan as my voice was not suiting it – ultimately as a producer sometimes you have to separate yourself from the artist and do what’s best for the song, that’s definitely what’s happened here. Dan’s delivery and emotion behind the messaging is amazing and I’m so glad I had him sing the song. Guitar solo wise I’m really happy with this one, so much pain and hurt in the crying tone’s and whales it really does suit the message and its urgency and importance”
