Today (December 16), U.K. electronic act ABOVE & BEYOND are offering a tantalizing window into their new album WE ARE ALL WE NEED’s expansive 16 tracks. For the trio’s third studio album that’s due out January 20 on Anjunabeats/Ultra Music, the 90-second preview clips range from their anthemic festival tracks such as “All Over The World” and “Fly To New York” (feat. Zoë Johnston) to downtempo moments like “Little Something” (feat. Justine Suissa) and the melancholic “Sink The Lighthouse (feat. Alex Vargas). Also included, are the previous singles “We’re All We Need” (feat. Zoë Johnston), “Blue Sky Action” and “Sticky Fingers” (feat. Alex Vargas).
The 90-second preview clips are available on iTunes http://po.st/iWAAWN, with shorter clips also available via the band’s YouTube channel at http://youtu.be/yt09LWwxoXY.
A deep, musical and melodic approach to electronic dance music, WE ARE ALL WE NEED is rich in texture and emotion; including reflective downtempo moments alongside progressive club anthems. As with their second studio album, 2011’s Group Therapy, ABOVE & BEYOND—who is Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness and Paavo Siljamaki–have worked with Andrew Bayer on the production of the album, which features 16 tracks including vocal collaborations with Zoë Johnston, Alex Vargas, Gemma Hayes and Justine Suissa.
