REVIEW – A full two years after dropping their career-defining album ‘TRUE POWER’, I PREVAIL returns with ‘TRUE POWER (EXPANDED)’, and it’s not just a deluxe version—it’s a full-throttle continuation of the band’s most explosive era. Released August 23rd via Fearless Records, this expanded edition adds new layers to an already thunderous record, offering fresh perspectives on pain, resilience, and the will to fight through it all.
The new tracks—including standout cuts like “Closure”, “Body Bag (Live)”, and “Deep End (Stripped)”—each bring something different to the table. “Closure” burns with a slow intensity, capturing the emotional exhaustion of trying to move on. “Body Bag (Live)” is a riotous reminder of I PREVAIL’s power on stage, unleashing raw, unfiltered energy that hits just as hard as the studio version. And “Deep End (Stripped)” is a hauntingly beautiful take that proves heavy music doesn’t need distortion to be devastating.
