New kids on the block brought their magic summer tour to Merriweather post pavilion with special guest Paula Abdul DJ jazzy Jeff!
Opening the show DJ jazzy Jeff the great DJ everyone knows that collaborated with Will Smith and was also on the French Prince of Bel Air jazzy Jeff did a collaboration of songs and played a good 15 to 20 minutes set to get the crowd hyped up full of nostalgia!
After a good 15 minutes stage set up they also talented and lovely Paula Abdul hit the stage the iconic Paula Abdul played a good 40 minute set of her hits such classics like straight up, cold hearted and opposites attract, Abdul had a nice Vegas style setup with backup dancers lot of stage props that kept the crowd pleased and wanting to see more!
After I say in 20 minutes intermission and stage set up the thing that everybody is waiting to see on this magic summer tour was the New kids on the block, NKOTB played a 27 song set playing songs and hits from they’re over 30 plus years together and from eight studio albums, with songs like summer love, you got it (the right stuff) , please don’t go girl they did a melody with Never Gonna fall in love again and paradise city, and along with DJ jazzy Jeff they did the Will Smith hit summertime, they also did another melody of hanging tough and the Queens hit song We Will Rock. In the middle of the show the band left the stage and went to the middle of the pavilion where they had tiny stages for each member with lights to sing to the crowd on the three hundred level which made the fans happy to get up close and personal. It really seems like all the members really enjoyed themselves why up on stage together singing and goofing off!
