JENNY LEWIS ANNOUNCES THE JOYâALL BALL TOUR
WEST COAST SHOWS CONFIRMED FOR NOVEMBER & DECEMBER
VEVO LIVE SESSION FEATURINGÂ “CHERRY BABY” NOW LIVE
âJenny Lewis, it seems, can do it allâ¦Though Lewis shines in stadiumsâ¦her superstardom is more apparent up close, a refusal to shrink her charm to fit a venue where guests nearly piled out the door.â â WASHINGTON POST
âHer voice was pristine as everâ¦in an instant, she could flip to impressive vocal feats, hitting high notes on âRed Bull and Hennessyâ that are rarely heard outside of the safety of studiosâ¦And the road-ready driving guitar of âLove Feelâ felt messier in the best ways, with Lewis fully inhabiting her rock & roll discipleshipâ â AUSTIN CHRONICLE
âShe was a picture of power â a real-life heroine clad in black leather, wind machine touseling her hair.â â AUSTIN AMERICAN-STATESMAN
âJenny Lewisâ Infectious Energy Lights Up New Yorkâ¦From her vibrato in the torchy âAcid Tongueâ to some genuine grit during âThe Next Messiah,â Lewisâ voice was strong but floated effortlessly over the instrumentation. She seemed especially rejuvenated by the new material, finding a pocket for album tracks like âApples and Orangesâ and âCherry Babyâ that made them sound like old favoritesâ¦her music, past and future, left everyone smiling.â â VARIETY
As the tail end of 2023 swiftly approaches, Jenny Lewis shows no signs of slowing down. As if the release of her fifth solo album, JoyâAll (Blue Note/Capitol Records), scoring her first #1 on the Adult Alternative Airplay chart with âPsychos,â hitting the road as support on the Beck and Phoenix co-headline Summer Odyssey tour, in addition to her own headline datesââand now currently on the road for the 20th anniversary Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie co-headline tourââweren’t enough, Lewis is kicking it up a notch with the announcement of the JoyâAll Ball Tourâa leg of west coast dates heading into the holiday season.
