Stevie Nicks Royal Farms Arena 3-26-17

Stevie Nicks took the stage at Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore at 8pm on March 26, 2017 for her 24 Karat Gold Tour. The Pretenders were scheduled to open the show, but had to cancel due to the illness of lead singer Chrissie Hynde, who was sick with the flu. Stevie joked about having Chrissie in a glass jar or bubble to prevent all of the others from getting ill.

Stevie sang her solo hits and some of her work with Fleetwood Mac. In between songs she would talk and interact with fans. She shared a story about when she went to Fleetwood Mac and asked for their OK when she wanted to go do a solo career. They seemed hesitant, but she promised, and to this day almost 40 years later she is still a part of Fleetwood Mac.

I was very impressed by her and her ability to entertain a large fan base that spans generations. Her fans of all ages enjoyed performances of:

Gold and Braid
If Anyone Falls
Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around
Belle Fleur
Gypsy (Fleetwood Mac song)
Wild Heart
Bella Donna
New Orleans
Moonlight (A Vampire’s Dream)
Stand Back
Crying in the Night (Buckingham Nicks song)
If You Were My Love
Gold Dust Woman (Fleetwood Mac song)
Edge of Seventeen

Rhiannon (Fleetwood Mac song)
Landslide (Fleetwood Mac song)
