Fort Worth, TX – The RANDY ROGERS BAND played Billy Bob’s Texas in the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards on December 19th for a special pre-Christmas show. The band hit the stage sporting 3 piece suits and Santa hats… NOT the typical country boy look, but sharp none the less. The guys entertained with a bunch of their biggest hits to date, such as “Kisses In The Dark” (One of my favorites!) with a few songs off the new album Nothing Shines Like Neon sprinkled in as well. The new album Nothing Shines Like Neon will be their seventh studio album, the follow-up project to 2013’s Trouble. It is scheduled for release on Jan. 15, 2016. The album was recorded at Cedar Creek Studios in Austin, Texas and produced by Buddy Canon. It features seven songs written or co-written by the band, a few cover tunes and two songs co-written by Randy Rogers and Producer Buddy Cannon. The album will feature several duets including “Look Out Yonder,” with Alison Krauss; “Acting Crazy,” with Jamey Johnson; and “Taking It As It Comes,” with Jerry Jeff Walker. If you haven’t witnessed a Randy Rogers Band show live you need to get tickets and catch their next show!
