Mac Sabbath Burns up the stage at The Rail Club
Mac Sabbath in Ft. Worth on Thursday night at The Rail Club about 10:45 the curtain (Bright orange and red sheet) hung across the stage tied to a couple of large Clown heads on poles that have red laser beams shooting from their eyes and a mouth that eventually will blow smoke out in plums on cue. Large clown props almost 10 feet tall on the back wall on either side that also had glowing red laser lights coming from their eyeballs pointing out into the audience. It was a little eerie. The club was full of a bunch of rowdy fans that love a little Black Sabbath music and enjoy a good show full of on stage props including a little grill that lights up and blows smoke and lights up as the lead singer Ronald Osbourne fries up some hamburger treats that are put in his mouth two at a time representing the double quarter pounder.
An American Band Parody heavy metal tribute band formed in California in 2014 according to online reports. Vocalist Ronald Osbourne, guitarist Slayer MacCheeze, bassist Grimalice and drummer the Catburglar.
The music was really good especially if you like the sound of Black Sabbath and fortunately growing up listening to some of it and personally I was very pleased. As a parody band the lyrics are all their own and poke a lot of fun at the GMO food put out by a particular international restaurant that I won’t mention and with the really nice set of props these guys are great. Very funny.
Songs they sing.
“Pair-a-Buns”,”Frying Pan”, “Sweet Beef”, “N.I.B.B.L.E”, “Organic Funeral”, ” More Ribs” and “Zipping Up the Uniform”.
