LIKE A STORM Continue to Make History With Their Latest Single “Become The Enemy”

Like A Storm continue to break records as their latest single reaches the Top 15 at Active Rock radio this week. “Become The Enemy” hit #14 this week, and is now the highest charting song by a New Zealand rock band in American history. It also sets a new record for Like A Storm’s own radio career. They captured the highest charting rock song by a band from New Zealand from the rock group Pacifier with their first single “Love The Way You Hate Me.” That single reached the Top 25 landing at #21 at Active Rock, was #1 for 5 weeks on SiriusXM Octane, and the accompanying video became a viral hit that has been viewed over 3.5 million times to date. The follow up “Wish You Hell” outdid that single when it hit #17 and gave the band the distinction of being the only artist from New Zealand to break into the Active Rock Top 20. “Become The Enemy” has also been used at various sporting events as of late with the Dallas Cowboys (football) and the Detroit Red Wings (hockey) playing the song during recent home games.

Become The Enemy” comes from their latest Another Century release Awaken The Fire. The video for the song can be seen here: The video features the band performing amidst a raging ring of fire, and even features a flaming didgeridoo being played during the clip. The video for “Become The Enemy” is directed by longtime collaborator Chris Fisher, whose previous efforts with the band produced the multi-million viewed “Love The Way You Hate Me” video.

Like A Storm is currently touring across the United States on their first-ever headline tour. The band is now halfway into their nationwide Didgeridoo Destruction Tour 2015 with special guests From Ashes To New, Stitched Up Heart and Failure Anthem. No stranger to touring, Like A Storm have built a diehard fan base sharing stages all over the world with Alter Bridge, Slash, Black Veil Brides, Three Days Grace, Steel Panther and more. Ticket information is available at!tour/cjg9.

Like A Storm has received critical acclaim for their live performances with Kerrang! applauding their “Big, badass riffage and arena-sized choruses….” Metal Hammer has praised the band’s introduction of the didgeridoo into heavy music declaring, “Like A Storm are rewriting metal’s rulebook like never before.” Fans can go to for more information and links to purchase tickets.

Recently referred to by Slash/Alter Bridge frontman Myles Kennedy as “the hardest working band in rock”, Like A Storm is regarded as one of the most prolific new acts out there. The Auckland-bred brothers— Chris Brooks [lead vocals, guitar, didgeridoo, keys/programming], Matt Brooks [vocals, lead guitar, keys/programming], and Kent Brooks [bass, vocals, keys/programming]— came to the United States knowing no one, and have built a devoted fan-base through their tireless tour schedule. The addition of L.A-based Zach Wood on drums rounds out the line-up. Like A Storm write, perform, record and produce all of their albums themselves.
