GARBAGE

Toronto, ON – GARBAGE the late 90’s alternative-rock band from Madison, Wisconsin brought their “20 Years Queer Tour” to The Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto, Ontario on Monday, October 26, 2015. GARBAGE are currently on tour in support of “Garbage [20th Anniversary Edition]” the special 20th Anniversary Edition of their critically acclaimed self-titled album. GARBAGE originally released the genre defying album on August 15, 1995 at a time when grunge music dominated the airwaves and mainstream culture. The band’s distinctive approach to songwriting and production — blending elements of various genres — captured the attention of critics and fans all over the world. The album spawned multiple hits including: “Vow”, “Queer”, “Stupid Girl”, and “Only Happy When It Rains” and spent more than a year on both the U.S. And U.K. Charts. It was also nominated for two Grammy Awards and went on to sell over 4 million copies worldwide.
