Fort Worth, TX – The Toadies hosted their annual music festival Dia De Los Toadies September 11th and 12th on the banks of the Trinity River at Panther Island Pavilion in Fort Worth, Texas. For the third year in a row, Dia was held in the Toadies hometown of Fort Worth, Texas. The festival celebrated its eighth year and has kept the tradition alive with local Texas talent as well as national acts hand-picked by the band themselves.
Dia De Los Toadies kicked off the first night on September 11th with an almost-acoustic performance by the Toadies at The Shack on Panther Island Pavilion with Dallas’s own Sarah Jaffe playing a rare solo acoustic opening set. The night was extra special as Toadies celebrated the release of their upcoming acoustic album Heretics. The album is out September 18th featuring deconstructed and acoustically re-arranged Toadies fan favorites, two brand new songs, a surprising cover, and a previously unreleased track. Festival goers who purchased a Friday ticket or weekend pass received a signed copy of Heretics at Dia – a week before the street date!
The second day of Dia De Los Toadies took place across two stages on September 12th. This year’s line-up included Burden Brothers, Local H, Holy Moly, Buck Pets, Sealion, Son of Stan, and Gollay. Dia de los Toadies delivered the best beer, finest of food trucks, and a hell of a rock show curated by the Toadies themselves. In a nutshell the Dia De Los Toadies was one HELL of a show!
