Dallas, TX – Thursday night Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas, Texas hosted alternative-rock gods the DEFTONES & INCUBUS. Gexa Energy Pavilion was nearly filled to its 20,000 capacity.

The Deftones took the stage just before 7:30 p.m., on unseasonable mild summer night in North Texas, ripping into “Diamond Eyes” the title track from their sixth studio album Diamond Eyes released in 2010. The next song up, also from 2010’s Diamond Eyes, “Rocket Skates” was introduced with riffologist Stephen Carpenter’s chugging bottom heavy guitar work followed by Chino Moreno’s shriek and distorted screams of “Guns! Razors! Knives!” It was evident that the night would be special as Moreno’s screams were echoed by the crowd.
