BUSH Live at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, Maryland

Open Act-The Kickback

The opening act for Bush was Chicago based band, The Kickback, who went onstage at 8:p.m. Their show was good and very upbeat. They played a thirty minute set which got the crowd pumped up for the show to follow. It was good to see a young band pay tribute to Frankie Valli and Four Seasons with there version of ” Walk Like a Man”. This song has been done in many versions, but they brought their own punk/grunge vibe to this classic. if you get a chance to see The Kickback I would check them out.

Bush hit the stage at 9:p.m. at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD on Friday, December 30, 2016. The show was jam packed and very energetic from start to finish. Lead singer, Gavin Rossdale, kept the crowd going for the whole almost two hour show. This was my first time seeing them live and they put on a awesome performance. Gavin is very interactive with the fans during the show, playing and using the entire stage, even coming out into pit area to sing to the crowd. He gets as close as he can to the fans while onstage, making for a great show.
