DALLAS – (DO) 2016 has begun and that means it’s time once again for ARTOPIA!!!
The Dallas Observer is excited to host the 6th Annual Artopia on Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 8 pm – 11 pm in the Centennial building at Dallas’ historic Fair Park.
Artopia is a celebration of Dallas culture and art that incorporates food, drink, art, music and fashion into one evening of pure awesomeness. Artopia is a sensory overload full of culture, fashion, visual arts, performing arts and so much more; featuring fashion shows, visual and performing arts and live music from local musicians as well as local artists.
It’s an event with a cause, as the Observer is awarding local artists with monetary grants for service to the Arts and the Community. These individuals were chosen from a panel of local cultural denizens, philanthropists and community-organizers. Dallas Observer will donate over $6,000 in grants to our Mastermind Awards winners. The winners will be featured in a special section of Dallas Observer, and will be honored at the event on January 16th.
