6X GRAMMY NOMINEE BRANDY CLARK ON “CBS THIS MORNING” SATURDAY, FEB. 11

Clark tapped for select Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s Soul2Soul World Tour stops

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Six-time GRAMMY nominee and CMA Award winning country artist Brandy Clark will kick-off GRAMMY week with an intimate and unfiltered interview from a studio in Los Angeles with Don Dahler this Saturday, Feb. 11 on “CBS This Morning.” Catch the teaser here.

“Watching the GRAMMY Awards as a child, I would dream of playing my guitar with the ease of those taking to its stage,” shares Clark. “I’ve spent my life working to get to this point in my career, and so talking more in depth about the evolution from songwriter to singer-songwriter, stepping out from behind the curtain into the spotlight has been a surreal experience.”

Clark is going into music’s biggest night with two GRAMMY nominations from The Recording Academy: Best Country Album for her critically acclaimed sophomore album Big Day in a Small Town and Best Country Solo Performance for her emotive ballad “Love Can Go To Hell.”

“Country songwriter Brandy Clark’s tremendous gift for wordplay and storytelling was never in question, but on her second album she unleashes her inner diva like never before…” Rolling Stone praised of Big Day, “Her aching vocal performances and razor-sharp lyrics expertly articulating complicated, if all too common, human struggles”

Heralded as “country music’s most reliable character witness,” (The Washington Post) Clark released her explosive sophomore album last summer. Produced by Nashville’s Jay Joyce, Big Day landed on many “Best of 2016” critics’ lists, including NPR, TIME, Rolling Stone, American Songwriter, Entertainment Weekly, Billboard and more.
