Greenville Ave. St. Patty’s Day Parade and Dallas Observer’s Concert

DALLAS – On March 19th the city of Dallas held their annual Greenville Avenue Saint Patrick’s Day celebration. As is tradition, the day began at 8 a.m. with a 5k Fun-Run down the parade route. This year’s event drew crowds well over the 100,000 mark.

Once the Parade ended, the music began. Virtually every little bar and pub along and adjacent to the cordoned off 1.8 mile stretch of Greenville had a band (or bands) booked for that afternoon. The largest draw, however was the annual Dallas Observer’s St. Patty’s Day Concert.

This year’s ticket was packed with bands. Musician and vocalist Jessie Frye began the show at 1:30 p.m., followed by  The Vandoliers, Saints of Valory and Kirk Thurmond & the Millennials. The headliner this time was Third Eye Blind.
